THE CORE IDEA

Most enterprises have the same problem: they know AI can help, but they can't move at the speed the opportunity requires. Internal IT is backlogged. Vendors want to own the solution. Consultancies want to scope indefinitely. We take a different approach. You send us the problem. We send back a solution. If you want us to build it, we do, through the Department structure, inside your IT environment, with you owning the IP. If the solution is validated internally and has natural applications across your industry, we explore going to market together.

HOW IT WORKS

Phase 1

Problem Identification

Typically begins with a Sprint or Department relationship. You surface your most expensive, repeatable operational problems. We score them against our ROI framework and identify the highest-leverage candidates for AI solutions.

Phase 2

Build and Validate Internally

We design and build the solution, inside your IT tenant, with your data, compliant with your governance. We validate it works and measure the ROI before calling it done. You own the result from day one.

Phase 3

Transfer or Manage

Choose your exit: we transfer the solution fully to your team with documentation and training, or we continue as the managed service provider. Either way, the IP and data are yours.

Phase 4

Take It to Market (Optional)

If the solution has proven value internally and natural applications across indirect competitors or adjacent industries, we explore joint venture models to take it to market together. You recoup your investment and generate new revenue from the IP you helped create.

The Innovation Lab is scoped per engagement. There is no standard price because there is no standard problem, and the commercial structure depends on how far you want to take what we build together.

Build and transfer

We build the solution inside your environment, you own the IP entirely. Billed at Department retainer development rates ($55 USD/hr engineering, $100 USD/hr data science and senior strategy).

Build and manage

We build and continue as your managed service provider. Same rates, ongoing relationship.

Build, validate, and co-venture

We build together, prove it works internally, and take it to market as partners. Equity or revenue share negotiated at the point of market validation. Client engagement to startup partnership.

Most Lab engagements begin through an AI Department retainer relationship, which provides the lowest rates and the fastest path to trust. Standalone Lab engagements are considered on a case-by-case basis.
